I aspire to be put my decades of volunteerism in 3 political parties to good use. It is my belief that having been active in three parties, has provided me with a somewhat unique perspective - engulfed in disfunctional systems that do not work, why they do not work, and what needs to be done so that we can move towards a functional democracy that works for everyone.

The Wizard of Oz was originally written about bankers and the gold standard. In the novel, by L. Frank Baum, Dorothy wore silver slippers, because at the time, the national discussion was focussed on replacing the gold standard, with a silver standard. The movie featured ruby slippers, simply because it was in Technicolor.

P.S. I am not Russian, and am not and never have been married to a Russian, although there are evidently rumors that I am Russian. Born and bred 5th generation American without Russian ancestry. I have a pretty good idea of where the rumors originated. Yes, even non Russians hate Hillary Clinton and the Surveillance State. A Russian musician that i have never even heard of wrote this song about me. I had it posted here, and a hacker deleted it. I suspect that Rob Goldstone may have contacted the musician and paid him to do it. I am the only Andrea Iravani. I checked on VK.com too.
