Blow Back from U.S. Military Occupation of Afghani Poppy Fields

The U.S. has been occupying the poppy fields in Afghanistan for sixteen years. Winning anything other than more heroin is not on the agenda.

The Taliban destroyed the poppy fields, which was why the U.S. would not tolerate the Taliban.  ISIS is a-o-k with the neocon neoliberal agenda. The poppy fields are a $1 trillion income for the military.  In the past, we called a spade a spade and called them opium wars, until opium became illegal in 1914.

Here are the homicidal maniacs guarding the poppy fields  that would make any mother cry and be completely disgraced:

American terrorism around the globe has united our victims against us. What else would anyone with two brain cells or more left with expect?!

Mehr News Agency has reported a new level of diplomacy between Iran and Afghanistan.

Afghan MP Davoud Kalkani met with Iranian leadership.

Mehr News reports:

“Mr. Kalkani for his part voiced content with the meeting and expressed hope that the visit made by the parliamentary friendship group to be an opener to more dialogue and cooperation between the parliaments of the two countries.

“We welcome sharing experience and cooperation with Iranian parliament in international venues,” said the Afghan law-maker.

“Terrorism is created in Afghanistan and other regions of the world by the superpowers seeking their own objectives,” noted the Afghan legislator.

“Afghanistan will continue war on terror and won’t allow the expansion of terrorist groups’ activities,” he highlighted.”

In Flanders Fields

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
        In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
        In Flanders fields.
Peace,
Andrea Iravani
