The Incompetency of Wisconsin’s Local and State Governments

The corrupt and completely incompetent local and state government officials throughout the state of Wisconsin have their websites managed by a company called Civic Plus, which is actually a civic disaster.

None of the state of Wisconsin’s websites or local government’s websites are secured. They all use http rather than https which means that the website is secured. The s at the end means that it is a secured site.

A non – secured website makes it exceptionally vulnerable to data breaches, because it is not encrypted.

Even my website is secured, and I am a technological idiot. I will admit that. Apparently, I am not as stupid as Scott Walker, or any other local government in the state of Wisconsin using a non-secured website, exposing every resident in the state of Wisconsin to data breach.

According to How to Expert Dot Com:

“If you are collecting ANY sensitive information on your website (including email and password), then you need to be secure. One of the best ways to do that is to enable HTTPS, also known as SSL (secure socket layers), so that any information going to and from your server is automatically encrypted. The prevents hackers from sniffing out your visitors’ sensitive information as it passes through the internet.”

I have often referred to Scott Walker,  Reince Preibus, and Paul Ryan as the Three Stooges, because their behavior proves that the title is warranted on a regular basis.
